01.About me

I'm an engineer with a deliberately mixed background: Computer Science & Automation at Politehnica (UPB), then Business Administration taught in English (FABIZ, ASE). It's why I look at every product from two angles: the technical one and the business it has to serve.

At Graphit Innovation Factory I work full-stack, with Django and Python. I build from the data model up to the interface, but I care just as much about what keeps a product standing: monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana and Wazuh, security, testing and performance, on infrastructure that runs on Linux, Docker and Nginx. With a business background too, I understand the model and what the client actually needs, and deliver prompt, effective results.

Outside of work I build my own projects and take them all the way to production. I like software made with care: stable, clean and ready to use, not just a demo that runs once.

Registrul Național Digital al Clădirilor

Romania's building stock, digitized through the PNRR

Romania's building stock used to live in scattered archives and local databases; this PNRR-funded government platform gathers it into a single national digital registry. Institutions and citizens can search buildings by NIS code on an interactive GIS map, manage building portfolios with data and analytics, and consult a public register of certified specialists. Delivered as a Dockerized web platform with machine-to-machine integrations, built at Graphit Innovation Factory as part of the team, I worked across frontend and backend on the Technical Applications module, the Personnel Register & Certifications, the landing page and the About RNDC section.

DigiMatur

Digital maturity assessment for SMEs

Most SMEs have no objective way to know where they stand with digitalization. DigiMatur answers that: a Django platform that measures a company's digital maturity across 7 weighted dimensions, computes a real score with a weighted scoring engine and turns the answers into a downloadable PDF report delivered straight to the inbox via transactional email. My bachelor's thesis, taken solo from the first line of Python to the live server, deployed with nginx and gunicorn on Linux, still running in production today.

Adventure camps for kids, booked online

An adventure-camp organization needed more than a brochure: it needed the flow that turns a curious parent into a signed-up camper. I designed and built the whole site, mountain programs, summer and winter camps, custom experiences for kids and groups, with a clear booking and enquiry flow and an integrated management side for organizers. Fast, responsive and SEO-friendly, built end to end and shipped to production, 100% mine.

Profesio

Online learning platform for professionals

An e-learning platform where professionals grow through structured online courses, organized by category, professional training, financial education, personal development and university continuing education, each with lessons, difficulty levels and progress tracking. I worked full-stack on everything around public courses: creating and managing them, the instructor module and the organization module, with video ingest and playback served through nginx from Dockerized services, supporting multiple instructors and institutions with both free and paid courses. Built at Graphit Innovation Factory as part of the team.

Conacul Sârbesc

Guesthouse site with online reservations

A presentation-and-booking website for the Conacul Sârbesc guesthouse: the property, rooms and location up front, reservations a click away. The online reservation flow is built directly into the platform, with API integration and a webhook that sends automatic WhatsApp messages so the owners can talk to guests straight from the site. Responsive, GDPR-compliant and structured for search engines. Delivered at Graphit Innovation Factory, one of my first shipped web projects.

Pensiunea Maria Rustic

Multi-property accommodation & booking

A booking site that gathers three separate properties, a Mamaia Nord apartment plus Vila Brândușa and Vila Maria Rustic, each with its own page and reservation flow under one roof. One platform handles per-property availability and reservations end to end, with the same in-platform booking system, API integration and automatic WhatsApp notifications as the other guesthouse sites I built. Responsive and SEO-friendly, delivered at Graphit Innovation Factory.
